Project Steering Unit (PSU)

Provides strategic leadership, approves annual plans, oversees implementation, and ensures alignment with national migration and employment policies.

Strategic leadership for the whole project

The Project Steering Unit (PSU) sits at the top of ReMi’s governance structure. It is the body accountable for the direction, coherence, and integrity of reintegration services delivered across every district where ReMi operates.

The PSU brings together senior representatives from the lead government ministries, implementing partners, and technical advisors. Rather than managing day-to-day activities, it focuses on the decisions that shape the whole programme: approving the annual work plan and budget, confirming that field-level implementation stays aligned with national migration and employment policy, and stepping in when cross-agency coordination is needed to unblock delivery.
