Local Government

Coordinates local implementation, identifies beneficiaries, supports Employment Service Centers, and promotes community engagement.

The bridge between policy and community

Local Government units — municipalities and rural municipalities — are where the ReMi project meets the communities it serves. They translate national-level plans into action on the ground, close to the returnee migrants who need support.

Local authorities know their communities best: who has returned, what support already exists locally, and where gaps remain. That local knowledge makes them essential partners for identifying beneficiaries fairly, coordinating with Employment Service Centers, and building the community trust that reintegration work depends on.
